What is our relationship with Krishna ?
We have father, mother, brothers, sisters, spouse and children. We have a relationship with each one of them. But, what is our relationship with Krishna ?
Krishna who is ever looking out with deep yearning, 'would not this 'jiva' turn his attention towards me' says, "All these - your father, mother, brother, sister, wife, children - are outside. But, I am within you."
Since man does not pay heed to this, Krishna decides to come out and stay in Temples (…

Each-mantra-of-each-round:
* You have to chant and hear each mantra. Right here and now.
* Focus on this bead you are now holding between your fingers, this mantra that is now being uttered from your lips and now entering into the ear.
* And then move onto the next mantra, which you must focus on in the same way… and the next… and the next.
* This may work for 10 or 15 mantras, maybe even 30, and the mind will become diverted again. Then you have to pull the mind back and set to it again.
* Con…

Beyond the heaven is my abode
come to me. come to me.
Don't stop, come to me.
If you get stuck in the heaven,
you will return back from there to hell.
Don't stop in the heaven, come to me, come to me.
My abode is beyond heaven, far away from here.
Come to me, come to me
All the charming faces, boys and girls, eyes and noses,
hairs and dresses, cookies and sweets and chocolates,
pass them on.
Smiling and dancing, come to me, come to me.
My abode is beyond the heaven.
come to me.
Joyfully move i…

Everything is meant for Krsna’s service ……………………..Nectarean Mellows
Whatever facilities Krsna may give you, you have a home, Parikshit Maharaj had a palace, you may have your automobile, a car and a driver, Parikshit Maharaj has his horses and elephants and chariots and chariot drivers, it is the same principle, in Kali Yuga horses become automobiles out means of conveyance but we should understand what this is for. Parikshit Maharaj understood that every one of his horses is Krsna’s servant…

“There are principles to regulate attachment and aversion pertaining to the senses and their objects. One should not come under the control of such attachment and aversion, because they are stumbling blocks on the path of self-realization.”
B. G. Chapter 3, Verse 34.
“The servants of the Lord are actually the servants of society. ... They are interested in imparting knowledge of the relationship of the living being with the Supreme Lord, the activities in that transcendental relationship, and…

Why waste time sitting at the feet of the "one-eyed guru" TV set, when you can instead upgrade to the mystic television within your heart and see a 24 hours daily live broadcast of the pastimes of the Supreme Lord that are happening right now in the spiritual world? This is a simple matter of common sense. Who would want to waste their time with programming which shackles its viewers to the cycle of birth and death, when instead one can watch programming which bestows eternal unlimited knowledge…

Getting the Eyes to See God
Student. For the last one hundred fifty years, one of the major problems of Western theologians has been the relationship between reason and faith. They have been seeking to understand faith through reason, but they have been unable to find the relationship between the reasoning abilities and faith. Some of them have faith in God, but their reason tells them there is no God. For instance, they would say that when we offer prasada to the Lord, it is only faith to thin…

The Hare Krishna Mantra is Everywhere in the Vedas
God Himself in His most munificent incarnation as Lord Caitanya chanted the Hare Krishna Mantra. The great Vaisnava acharyas such as Rupa Goswami chanted Hare Krishna. And the Hare Krishna mantra is declared in the Kali Santarana Upanisad to be the best of all mantras for delivering us from this material world. I do not understand why you need more evidence than this? Actually since the Hare Krishna mahamantra is an incarnation of Krishna in th…

The most beneficial way to practice Krishna consciousness is to strictly follow the Vedic injunctions, the spiritual master, and the previous acharyas. Because they have given us:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
this is millions of times more powerful than:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
In other words, we should not try to concoct anything new accor…

Krishna - Nitya Brahmachari
One day Lord Krishna was playing with his queen Rukmani in the banks of Yamuna. Suddenly the Lord told her, "Rukmani, on the other shore of Yamauna, sage Durwasa has come and he is very hungry. Please prepare good food and take it to the sage".
Rukmani immediately prepared a sumptuous food and packed it and came back to the shores of Yamuna. Then she told her lord, "Lord, The Yamuna is in floods and there is no boat or boatman in sight. How can poor me, cross this m…

Word of authority
In Sanathana Dharma if there is any difference of opinion between a Stotra(hymn of praise) and a Kavya(literary treatise), Kavya takes precedence; if there is a difference between Kavya and Purana, Purana(Srimad Bhagavatam and the like) takes precedence, likewise the following are progressively superior source of authority for decision making if there is a conflict of opinions: Stotras, Kavyas, Puranas, Ithihasas(epics), Smrithis and Sruthi (the Vedas).
In the Kritha Yuga(the…

Practically there are three processes for elevating one to the platform of spiritual consciousness. These processes are called karma, jnana and bhakti. Ritualistic performances are in the field of karma. Speculative processes are in the field of jnana.
One who has taken to bhakti, the devotional service of the Lord, need have nothing to do with karma or jnana. It has been already explained that pure devotional service is without any tinge of philosophical speculative or ritualistic performances…

People imagine that spirituality means meditating on God, bathing in sacred waters and visiting holy shrines, but this is not the correct meaning of spirituality. Spirituality means destroying the animal nature in man and awakening him to his divine consciousness. Spirituality implies recognizing that one’s manifold capacities emanate from the Spirit and not from the mind, then utilizing them for achieving spiritual strength. It means acknowledging that all powers come from the Divine.

Kuntidevi to Lord Krishna:"Being beyond the range of limited sense perception, You are the eternally irreproachable factor covered by the curtain of deluding energy. You are invisible to the foolish observer, exactly as an actor dressed as a player is not recognized."
Srimad Bhagavatam - Canto 1 Chapter 8 Verse 19
Kuntidevi's prayers are the best example of how a devotee depends on Krishna's mercy. This verse answers people who say they have not seen Krishna.

Radhe Krishna To All,
When you wish to talk to someone over telephone, you just don't start speaking soon after picking up the instrument, do you? Don't you need to know and dial the person's contact number first?’, Sri Sri Swamiji asked.
We knew that Sri Sri Swamiji was trying to convey something important in His own unique style – in a simple language that we can understand…
Sri Sri Swamiji continued… "Likewise, when you wish to speak to God and place your prayers before Him, you need to kn…

Dear All,
Universal brotherhood and peace can never be brought about by power, force or scientific advancement.
The only solution is inner transformation – a change in the tendency of every single person and the only way to achieve it is through spirituality.
To achieve this, we need not change our lifestyle; we need not go to another place; we need not renounce anything; there is no dress code or any such formality; we can go to work; go to school and live as usual and yet bring about ‘UNIVE…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 5:
1. "You advocate incessant chanting of Rama Nama. (Lets us say that) A person suffers from some disease and is also facing financial problems. Should different slokas be chanted for the different kinds of sorrows suffered, viz. disease, debt problem, etc.? - some sloka like the Navagraha sloka (be chanted)? Or is it enough if we chant Rama Nama as advocated by you?"
2. "while going through some sloka book we find the words above each sloka -'for g…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 4:
"What is the sign of a person who has seen God? How are we to identify such a person?" 'how are we to know that a person has seen God. Will there be any special signs on him?'
Sri.Sri.Muralidhara Swamiji:
Normally I have been pointing out to what the Vedas have said in this context. The Vedas have said, "the one who claims - 'I have seen God, I have attained Self-Realisation, I am a Jnani, there is no Jnani greater than I am, I possess power…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 3:
"Today Science has been successful in making many valuable inventions and discoveries. At this juncture is it still necessary to speak matters such as Spirituality, God, etc.?"
Sri.Sri.Muralidhara Swamiji:
None can refute the progress of Science today. Whatever Man had speculated about and thought was impossible have indeed been made possible today? For example nobody thought that one could reach the Moon. But, today man goes to the Moon qui…
