Radhe Krishna To All,
When you wish to talk to someone over telephone, you just don't start speaking soon after picking up the instrument, do you? Don't you need to know and dial the person's contact number first?’, Sri Sri Swamiji asked.
We knew that Sri Sri Swamiji was trying to convey something important in His own unique style – in a simple language that we can understand…
Sri Sri Swamiji continued… "Likewise, when you wish to speak to God and place your prayers before Him, you need to kn…

Dear All,
Universal brotherhood and peace can never be brought about by power, force or scientific advancement.
The only solution is inner transformation – a change in the tendency of every single person and the only way to achieve it is through spirituality.
To achieve this, we need not change our lifestyle; we need not go to another place; we need not renounce anything; there is no dress code or any such formality; we can go to work; go to school and live as usual and yet bring about ‘UNIVE…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 5:
1. "You advocate incessant chanting of Rama Nama. (Lets us say that) A person suffers from some disease and is also facing financial problems. Should different slokas be chanted for the different kinds of sorrows suffered, viz. disease, debt problem, etc.? - some sloka like the Navagraha sloka (be chanted)? Or is it enough if we chant Rama Nama as advocated by you?"
2. "while going through some sloka book we find the words above each sloka -'for g…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 4:
"What is the sign of a person who has seen God? How are we to identify such a person?" 'how are we to know that a person has seen God. Will there be any special signs on him?'
Sri.Sri.Muralidhara Swamiji:
Normally I have been pointing out to what the Vedas have said in this context. The Vedas have said, "the one who claims - 'I have seen God, I have attained Self-Realisation, I am a Jnani, there is no Jnani greater than I am, I possess power…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 3:
"Today Science has been successful in making many valuable inventions and discoveries. At this juncture is it still necessary to speak matters such as Spirituality, God, etc.?"
Sri.Sri.Muralidhara Swamiji:
None can refute the progress of Science today. Whatever Man had speculated about and thought was impossible have indeed been made possible today? For example nobody thought that one could reach the Moon. But, today man goes to the Moon qui…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Question No 2:
Why do we not earn real 'happiness' from these?
Sri.Sri.Muralidhara Swamiji:
I wish to make you understand this -- mental happiness is only the highest of all 'Bliss' [and not physical 'Bliss']. You may be sitting on a silken bed or live in a big palace. Your room may be air-conditioned. You may possess all physical comforts. But, now, let us say that someone has abused you and you come to hear of it. The mind immediately fumes. Does it not?…

Radhe Krishna To All,
Our Swamiji has been receiving several questions from devotees on life, science & spirituality and he has chosen five important questions to explain elaborately which commonly arise in many a minds.
Question No 1:
“Many opine that if one worships God he is relieved of sorrows in life, is cured of diseases and his financial status improves. But even those who do not worship God lead a prosperous life. Not only this but also those who are devoted to God face sor…

Radhe Krishna To All,
In Ramayana, we find that Sugreeva had lost everything - his kingdom, his wife, his children, his people and sat in a mountain forest. His life was in danger. If he were to move out of this forest, Vali (his brother to whom he had lost everything) was sure to kill him. What was his position after ‘kishkinda kaand’ and just before ‘Sundara kaand’? His coronation (‘pattabhishekha’) was over and he was living comfortably. He had even forgotten about the service to be rendered…

Radhe Krishna To all,
In our Religion, all the 33 crore devas have a separate Mantra. Viswamitra did upadesa of all these Mantras. Viswamitra had done lakhs of japa of all these Mantras, performed 'purascharnam', relevant homas, 'sandarpanai' and then saw each of these devas directly. After the performance of thousands of years of japa, Viswamitra had seen each of these devas.
What is 'siddhi' of a Mantra? 'Siddhi' means to directly see the devata of the Mantra.
Viswamitra taught all these ma…

Radhe Krishna To all,
There are two Maha Mantras in the world. Great Bhaktaas can be classified into two categories viz. Saivaites and Vaishnavites.
Saivaites have a Maha mantra. They always chant 'NAMASIVAAYA'. Devaaram says, the soul of the four Vedas is the Name of the Lord - Namasivaaya!.
Namasivaaya is the main Mantra for the Saivaites. It is 'Panchaakshara' (five lettered). Pattinathaar, too, calls it five letters.
The 'pradhaana' Mantra for Vaishnavites is the 'ashttaakshara' 'Om Namo…

Radhe Krishna To all,
What is the means used by Hanuman to enjoin Sita, the 'jiva', with Rama, the Bhagavaan? He gives her Rama's ring. The ring that Hanuman gives to Sita bears the word 'Rama'! It means that the Guru initiates her into 'Taaraka Mantra' (Rama) to cross the ocean of samsaara.
Sita had already been chanting this Nama and was ever thinking of Rama. Why then should Hanuman give it (Nama) to her? You might have been doing incessant japa of a Nama for a long period but, only if the…

Radhe Krishna To all,
The tears shed by Rama for Sita shows His 'viraga' (intense yearning). His 'viraga' was greater than that of Sita. Bhagvan deeply desires to take the jivas unto Him. His desire is deeper than that of the jiva who wishes to join the Lord. In Ramayana, Rama's lamenting depicts this only. This Maruti (Hanuman) is the Guru here. God will not come to man directly. Since, Guru makes even the impossible possible, Guru is greater than God.
Even when God calls each and every jiva…

Radhe Krishna To all,
Rama is 'Deivam'(God) and Sita the 'jiva'. Who brings the two (Bhagavaan and jiva) together? Initially, a Guru by name Viswamitra had brought the two (Rama and Sita) together in wedlock.
'Viswamitra' means friend of the cosmos (Viswam means cosmos and Mitra means friend). Only one who is able to see the whole cosmos as a friend ('sneha bhaava') can be a Guru. Can one see the whole Universe as Bhagavaan? 'Anta Raamamayam ee jagat!' sings Badrachala Ramadas! For him the who…

Radhe Krishna To all,
Once a man said to Ramakrishna Paramahamsa that in this world none had bhakti and that he wished to speak to people about ‘seeing’ God.
Ramakrishna asked him, "Have you seen God?" He replied, "No."
Ramakrishna questioned him, "When you have not yet seen God, how you can show God to another? First, you work for it and attain Bhagavan. We can then decide if it is necessary for you to show Him to others!"
Without having 'anubhava' (experience) of something you cannot speak…

Radhe Krishna To all,
Sundara Kaand in Ramayana depicts Guru Tattva. Valmiki has named the different cantos in Ramayana as Kishkinta kaand (Cantos), Ayodhya kaand, Yuddha kaand, Aaranya kaand but he has named this canto as Sundara (Beautiful) kaandam. He could have named it as 'samudra kaandam' as Hanuman jumped over the ocean or 'Sita darshana kaandam'. But, he has named it as Sundara Kaandam because it speaks about a 'sundaramaana vishaya' (beautiful matter). What is 'sundaramaana vishayam' fo…

Radhe Krishna To all,
Great tamil poet Valluvar says,- “Thoonguvadu polavumaam saakaadu; thoongi vizhippadu polavumaam pirappu’ Death is akin to sleep and birth is akin to waking up.
Sleep is for a night and death is a long sleep in another world for some 10/20 years. The 'sukshma sariira' (subtle body that is the 'mind') rests for certain period in another world and takes a body/form, human or otherwise as per its doings in its past births. Thus, his qualities of earlier births do not change.…

"God is spoken as the greatest 'tattva' (philosophy). Mahatmas say that the highest 'tattva' is God. But, there is one that is greater than even God and that is 'Guru Tattva'!
We should get into a Satsang. We are very concerned about our physical health and do various kinds of exercises, take medicines, do yogaabhyas to keep it sturdy and fit. We also try to maintain its beauty. But, we do not do anything about maintaining mental health. Just as there are exercises to kee…

Once Dharmaputra performed Rajasuya yagna in his capital-town Indraprasta. Many rishis and kings took part in the yagna. The entire town wore a festive look. Bhima was in charge of the kitchen. Duryodana took care of money-matters[gajana]. The puja was taken care of by Sahadeva while Nakula was responsible for collecting funds. Arjuna rendered service to the Guru and Lord Krishna was engaged in sadhu-seva. Draupadi was in charge of the dining area. Karna gave 'dhaanam' in…

There once was a boy who loved eating sweets. He always asked for sweets from his father. His father was a poor man. He could not always afford sweets for his son. But the little boy did not understand this, and demanded sweets all the time.
The boy's father thought hard about how to stop the child asking for so many sweets. There was a very holy man living nearby at that time. The boy's father had an idea. He decided to take the boy to the great man who might be able to…
